...January 2010...An article about the research activities of the participants at the PortEconomics.gr initiative appears at the University of the Aegean monthly newspaper. The article reports on the recent activities of the Research in Port Economics & Policy (REPEP) group both in Greece and at the European level.

The article follows a number of news reports in Greek specialised maritime press, focusing on the recent partnership of REPEP with four other European Universities (Brussels Uni, Belgium; Cardiff Uni, UK; Eindhoven, Uni, The Netherlands; and ITMMA-Uni of Antwerp, Belgium) and the European Sea Port Organisation (ESPO) in developing Port Performance indicators.
