Educational Programs

The teaching activities of REPER include the specialised undergraduate courses on the Economics & Management of Ports and on Port Planning and Policy.

The flagship teaching programme of the group is the Jean Monnet Module "European Port Policy" (EPP). This has been the first ever European University course devoted entirely to the multidisciplinary analysis of the progress towards a European Union Port Policy, via teaching and research activities. This unique programme is funded by the European Commission since 2003, and has recently secured EU funding until 2013.

These courses are offered to the students of the Business School  of the Aegean University in Greece, as part of the postgraduate and undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Shipping, Trade and Transport (STT). They are also offered to other audiences in Europe or else, via lectures of the REPER members, and assignments based on the output of REPER research activities and the most recent developments in port studies.
